Beer-Battered Alaskan Halibut

– 1 lb Halibut, cubed to 1" pieces – 1 C Flour – ½ C Cornstarch – ½ C Beer – 1 Tsp Salt – ½ Tsp Onion Powder – ¼ Tsp Garlic Powder – Oil for Frying

Make Batter

In a bowl combine cornstarch, flour, salt, garlic powder and onion powder. Add beer and stir to incorporate. You should get a pourable batter.
Coat in Batter

Drop pieces of fish into the batter and toss to coat. Meanwhile, heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Fry It Up!

Add the halibut and cook until golden brown. Repeat the process until all fish is cooked.
