Hi, I'm Valerie. Welcome!

“We’re working with Valerie & Valise…”

Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

Okay, for starters: there is no person named “Valise.” Please don’t address emails to “Dear Valise” because that’s just silly! My boyfriend is called “Mr. Valise” in some posts, but that’s not his real name. My valise is my bag, ok?

I love working with companies that understand the results that travel bloggers can drive for their brands. With a background in marketing, I bring a unique set of both strategic knowledge and influencer insight to any campaign I work on.

TL;DR (In Case You’re Short on Time, Here are the Highlights)

  • I’ve worked with over a dozen destinations to promote tourism for them.
  • I’ve partnered with over 30 companies to promote their accommodations, products, or tours.
  • I don’t agree to do campaigns if I can’t see how I will be instrumental to your success.

Yes, you read that right: I don’t work on campaigns if I don’t think I can help you succeed at them. If I do come on board, I’ll try and help you make it a success based on the defined KPIs.

I’m also happy to promote the right companies to my over 25,000 followers on social media, in addition to my readers. Social media promotion is usually included in partnerships I do, though I am open to blog-only or social media-only campaigns.

If you’d like to reach me to discuss a partnership opportunity, let’s do it! Email me at v@valisemag.com.

The V&V Media Kit

I have a one-page media Kit available and updated roughly once per month around the 1st of the month.

In it, you will find:

  • information about my professional experience as a blogger
  • testimonials (also below on this page)
  • basic statistics about my audience and following on social media.

If you’d like to save a copy of this media kit, please click the image at left, or click here to open it in a new page and download from there.

mjw-squareValerie from Valerie & Valise has been an absolute pleasure to work with.  When approaching our company for a collaboration, I was immediately impressed with her level of both professionalism and enthusiasm for her work. She continued to impress me with her strict timeframes, email updates and generous social media promotions throughout. Valerie has most certainly benefitted our company and I sincerely hope we can work together again in the future.

Freelance Writing

As much as I consider myself a travel blogger, I also consider myself a freelance travel writer. I have worked hard over the years to cultivate working relationships with editors at several major publications:

top-publications

I cannot guarantee coverage in exchange for a trip, experience, product, or accommodation. I can, however, work with you to craft engaging stories that editors may be interested in.

If you want to send me your PR pitch, please email it to valisemag+pr@gmail.com. I’d be happy to review it and discuss with you if I think there’s a story there – and if I’m the right person to tell that story.
